Just got back from visiting Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
Of course my favorite attraction was "Hercules & Xena-Wizards of the Screen"
I went on Monday, August 18th. It wasn't too packed but the temperature was around 100+ degrees fahrenheit.


(Brief description)The attraction is a tour of how the special effects are done for the shows.
They take you into 4 different rooms in the tour and show the equipment used in making the effects.
They also had audience participation.
The first room had a mechanical monster as shown in the photo below and they had 6 people work it. I got to work the mouth and tongue.

The rest of the indoor pics did not come out well. In the next room the showed how to cut and paste the action sequences. And the last room they put all the editing together and show it on the screen.

Most of all the show was neat. Lots of Xena pics everywhere. The bad part was the merchandise stand was small and there was nothing there that I couldn't get back at home. But well worth the visit!
